Description of Research or Extension Interests
I support all areas of beef cattle production and management with emphasis related specifically to reproductive physiology, estrous synchronization, heifer selection and development, bull selection and development and artificial insemination. I coordinate the Calhoun Bull Test program, Calhoun Heifer Evaluation and Reproductive Development (HERD) program, the UGA Master Cattlemen’s program and the Southeast Georgia Beef Cattle Short Course. In addition to these programs, I provide assistance to the Junior Livestock Program at various shows and events throughout the State.
